Why: Ongoing repair of the damaged water service line
Where: Barangay Sasa, Sitio Baribe and Hinatuan Poblacion.
Our maintenance team will be working diligently to address any significant damage to the water service line caused by the 7.4 magnitude earthquake.
However, due to the tropical depression KABAYAN on December 18, 2023, HWD management decided to reschedule the continuation of the damaged service line repair to December 20, 2023.
We kindly request your understanding and cooperation during this repair process. In the meantime, we recommend that you make necessary arrangements to store an adequate supply of water for your daily needs during the specified schedule.

Why: Ongoing repair of the damaged water service line
Where: Barangay Sasa, Sitio Baribe and Hinatuan Poblacion.

December 13, 2023, UPDATE
The response team from Hinatuan Water District (HWD) continues to evaluate possible damages to the service line also, visible leaks are currently under repair as a result of a 7.4 magnitude earthquake that occurred on December 02, 2023. This could result in a low water pressure to no water supply.
Rest assured all efforts will be taken to restore the normal water supply at the soonest possible time. Thank you very much for your patience.
NOTE:
1. Possible in-house leaking and damages may cause a sudden increase in your billing, to avoid this, we encourage everyone to please check your lines.
2. Concessionaires who experience low to no water supply during peak hours are advised to store enough water during midnight. ( See images)

Why: To augment the high water demand from Hinatuan Poblacion during the fiesta celebration.
Particulars;
The upcoming Araw ng Hinatuan and Patronal Fiesta Celebration on August 27-28, 2022, low water pressure of water is expected to experience at Hinatuan Poblacion particularly Barangay Lacasa (Low pressure to none) due to the high demand of water within the duration of the fiesta celebration. To avoid inconvenience we encourage all affected concessionaires to please store enough water to anticipate your needs during these dates.
